CatenaLogic designs products and tools that help the users get more out of live and their business. This privacy policy applies to our websites located at www.healthmateapp.com and catenalogic.com (individually a “Site” and collectively “Sites”) and mobile application for Windows 10 (each an “App” and together the “Apps”). The Sites and Apps are collectively referred to in this privacy policy as the “Health Mate Service”.

This policy may change over time. If any modifications substantially change your rights under this policy, we will send you an email where possible, and always provide notice on the Site.

What Data Does CatenaLogic Collect?

When You Visit a Site

Whenever you visit a Site, we collect industry standard log data that records information about your visit, such as your browser type, operating system, the URL of the page that referred you, the different actions you performed, and the IP address from the pages you visited. We use this type of information to provide you with information that’s relevant to your location and to make sure the Site is working properly.

When You Use an App

Whenever you use an App, you are asked to login into external services such as Microsoft Health and Withings. You have to enter your username and password on the external service site, this information will never be collected by an App. Once you have given permission for an App to access the external service data, the app will retrieve data for display purposes only.

When using live tiles, the tiles are generated by the healthmateapp.com. For this service to allow the creation of the tiles, personal access tokens are being sent encrypted to the server. The data on the server is only used for display purposes, the personal data is not being stored.

Whenever you use an App, we collect industry standard log data that records information about your visit, such as your operating system, the different actions you performed, and the IP address. We use this type of information to make sure the App is working properly.

How We Use Your Data

CatenaLogic uses your data to provide you with the best experience possible. Here are some examples:

• Height, weight, gender, age and more health information is used to display your health progress over time.
• Generate Live Tiles to give you up to date information without having to open an App.
• Logs and other data are used to troubleshoot Health Mate services; detect and protect against error, fraud or other criminal activity.
